Extreme Testing: Proven Under Heat & High Round Counts
We don’t just claim performance, we verify it. The Edison Tactical Optic Thermal Shield was tested in controlled lab conditions and on the range to validate real-world reliability.
Controlled Heat (Lab) Test
- Setup: Aluminum block oven heated to 290°F; red-dot optic placed on the hot block.
- Result: With the 16 mil NKN shield installed, the optic body never exceeded 151°F.
- Takeaway: The shield significantly reduced heat transfer from the hot mounting surface to the optic.
Live-Fire Test
